Some of the young people looked aftermanifest serious deficits in their emotional, cognitive, and behavioural development, and at the same time demonstrate considerable difficulty establishing and maintaining secure attachment relationships. ADMAX staff are trained to help support and form secure attachments with young people who may have experienced difficulties in early life.
Thus, ADMAX staff actively communicates empathy and acceptance of our young people while providing them with the comforting and containment needed to explore and resolve past trauma and shame-related experiences.
